Lisa’s Tiara

One of our customers, LisaJane Sutherland bought a beautiful silver bridal tiara from us. Greypuss Jewellery were at the new Drumossie Hotel in Inverness on Sunday the 29th of April for a Girl’s Styling Day.         

 We had our usual selection of wedding  jewellery with  us, and we met some lovely brides and their families.

One of the brides-to-be, Lisa Jane Sutherland bought her tiara from us, and she looked absolutely stunning in it.

 

She  asked if she could take it to one of the hairdressers in the exhibition. Naturally Greypuss consented, and when she returned, with her beautiful dark hair styled in a wedding type style, her transformation was completed, by the addition of the tiara.

She was wearing  a very nice, side cluster band as a brow band, and  it was stunning, It looked so different, and so unusual.

A Silver Bridal Tiara

We were are the Tayside Wedding Show, at the end of February, when we sold one of our brides, the silver bridal tiara of her dreams.

She was at the show with her Mum and Grandma, and had the notion of a sparkly diamante side cluster. However, like all other brides, she needed to try on a selection to ensure she was picking the one which suited her best.

She tried on various full tiaras, but didn’t really suit them

She is very slender, and is not too tall, so a full tiara didn’t suit her dainty features, or stature. It was too heavy.

Once she started to try on side clusters, then her whole face changed, and she began enjoy herself, but also looked fantastic in them.

Again, she had to be careful as she didn’t suit ones which stood out from the side of her head.

Evetually she tried one on, and the size was right for her;  the shape was perfect for her, and it sparkled and glittered against the backdrop of her very dark, shiny hair. She loved it

She took it to another stand where a hairdresser had set up shop to display her considerable talents at arranging hair into ‘wedding styles.’ She did a trial run with our bride, and once she saw the side cluster on, with a ‘wedding hair style,’ her mind was made up. It suited her and was perfect in every way.

 

Unfortunately, in the excitement of the moment, Greypuss, very stupidly forgot to write down her name. Apologies to our nameless bride, but I’m sure you’ll agree that she will be gorgeous on her wedding day, and she has made a good choice.

We no sooner have restocked, than we need to purchase more to fill the gaps left after each of our recent wedding fairs. Edinburgh Corn Exchange Wedding Fair

We had a really good 2 day wedding fair at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.

It is one of the best wedding show locations we visit, with a stunning setting and is very well organised.

We had amazing sales for the 2 days of the show, and we met a lot of very nice brides, their friends and their families.

Some of our customers from previous shows returned and it was lovely to meet them again, and help them make their final choice, as they tried on many different bridal tiaras.

Our best sellers were our silver tiaras, and our pearl and diamante hair vine.

We have a wide range, and many of the visitors to the stand commented on the vast range we have of wedding tiaras, as they said that usually other companies had perhaps only a handful from which to make their choice. As we always have over one hundred wedding tiaras of different design in stock, brides are spoiled for choice. We even sold a gold tiara, which is very unusual, as most brides are looking for a silver tiara. The lovely lady who bought the gold one, loved it, and it looked spectacular in her dark hair.

Wedding Fair, Corn Exchange, Edinburgh, 3rd-4th March

Charlene is a very attractive, young lady we met at the Scottish Wedding Exhibition. She is getting married in May, and one of her final purchases was her wedding tiara. She wanted a silver tiara. Strangely enough, when she arrived at our stand, with her mum, I recognized her, but was wondering where I had met her before. Then I remembered. She had been at our stand last September, trying on various silver tiaras, set with pearls. She had loved one in particular that time, and had taken note of our name. She had been looking for silver tiaras all winter, trawling all the various websites selling wedding tiaras in the UK, doing the rounds of bridal shops, and had finally returned to us at the SECC.

Charlene wanted a silver tiara, set with pearls and diamantes. Her long dark hair, was perfect for providing a good contrasting setting for the silver tones of her tiara. She tried on several wedding tiaras from our extensive stock of pearl and diamante wedding tiaras. Some she discarded right away, some she kept to one side. We left her to get on with it, as making the final choice of your wedding tiara is so important, and so personal. Finally she whittled her choice down to 2 different ones. She found it hard to decide which was the perfect wedding tiara for her. She had them both one several times before making her final choice.

Which Silver Tiara Did She Choose?
Charlene eventually returned to the first wedding tiara of her choice, the one she had dreamt of all winter. It was a beautiful silver tiara, with freshwater pearls, and diamantes forming a gorgeous arched design, with the centre part raised, narrowing down at the end. Despite trawling through the many websites, showing silver wedding tiaras in the UK, she still returned to us to buy the wedding tiara of her dreams. Have a look at the photographs and see the tiara she chose. She kindly gave us permission to photograph her in it, and share it with all of you. I am sure you will agree with me when I say she will make a beautiful bride, and has made an excellent decision is choosing such a beautiful, silver tiara.

Look At What Christina Bought at the Scottish Wedding Show!

Christina is a lovely young lady from Perth, who bought a beautiful, large crystal side cluster tiara from us, at the Scottish Wedding Show.
She visited our stand at another wedding fair, last November, in Edinburgh and saw our large crystal side cluster tiara. She asked a few questions about it, tried it on and loved it.
She contacted us in January and asked if we could get the tiara made in purple. Surprisingly, even after that length of time, we remembered her. I contacted my supplier and yes, it could be made in purple.
It was ordered, and delivered a couple of weeks ago. When it arrived, it was stunning, in such a rich, royal shade of purple. Christina came to pick it up from our stand, last weekend.

Christina’s whole face lit up when she saw it at the Scottish Wedding Show, in Glasgow.

She very kindly gave permission for us to photograph her and her tiara, and share the photos with everyone.

We are so pleased that Christina is happy and has the tiara of her dreams.
Good luck Christina with the rest of your wedding arrangements.
She is over the moon about it, and is dying to let her bridesmaids see it.

A Busy Weekend at the Scottish Wedding Show, SECC, Glasgow

What a weekend! Stand 445D at the Scottish Wedding Fair in the SECC, the Greypuss Jewellery Stand, was busy, busy, busy!

Our table was 2,3,4 and 5 deep at times. Perhaps in total, we had around 5 minutes every couple of hours without a crowd at our stand.

We were literally run of our feet trying to ensure everyone who was there was spoken to, had their questions answered, got a chance at the mirrors, were teased by Mr. Greypuss, and had a chance to try on whatever they wished.

At the end of the first 5 hours, we suddenly realised it was 3pm, and we had been on the go since 10am without a break.

By the end of trading yesterday we had a lot of satisfied customers.

We had an excellent set of sales figures, and we had met some really nice people.

Our most popular item was without doubt our large, side cluster diamante bands.

Watch out for some of the items our customers bought, as with their permission, and time permitting, we managed to get a few of the lovely ladies to pose for us.

However, that is for tomorrow!

Scottish Wedding Show, Feb 18th-19th, SECC, Glasgow

Greypuss Jewellery are off on their travels again. We are at the Scottish Wedding Show, in the Scottish Exhibition and Conferece Centre, in Glasgow this weekend.
We are on Stand 445D.
We have a lot of new interesting pieces on our stand.

If you are passing the stand make sure you come over and say hello. Also you might like to have look at some of our new stock.
We took it to our Wedding Showcase last night held in the Bancar Hotel in Aberdeenshire, and the interest shown in our new pieces was amazing. We sold out of one necklace set completely, which was fantastic, considering we only had got it from our supplier a few days ago!
